Thanks to our passionate and dedicated PGPCS Dance Photographer Rodney Rice Jr. we have some glimpses from the evening of Dance Our Legacy. Audience from the showcase are eagerly awaiting the next endeavor from us and the amount of support and interest in donating to the scholarship fund is humble, yet generous-- a true testament to the caliber of work that was shown. The International Association of Blacks in Dance Board Member, Carol Foster was buzzing through the week with how impressed she was stating, "...the Legacy, is definitely in good hands." Here are a few moments captured of Ms. Foster giving the Directors some energy, character and LIFE as she enters the stage during the Q+A.
We've not stopped short of Excellence at the stage...
In the season of change, new beginnings, and re-emergence:
It was a pleasure to have this DC Dance Veteran join us for an evening of Excellence--celebrating all of those who cam before us to make an our passion and purpose in dance a Lifelong endeavor.
In the season of change, new beginnings, and re-emergence:
- inspiration for new works arise
- projects from the past revive
- collegiate studies are being carried in the classroom for ages as young as seven
- choreography for the holiday season and in response to the greater society around us
- ministry for Sunday service and special occasions
- collaborations and more...
We are still actively accepting donations toward building the scholarship fund ($1300) more to GO!
It is possible with contributions from those who believe in this movement!
